Theatre Idols Finals

Went to Esplanade Concert Hall to watch this free play by the final 2 playwrights, where they present their scripts by nearly the same actors reading them out on the stage with minimum actions..

I think the first one was Flying kites on a Sunday and the Second on was Women hitting (on) Women..the first one was less stressful as the plot is simpler and the morale of the story is more obvious..whereas the 2nd one was much much confusing..jumping around and you muz pay attention very carefully to piece the whole story together..both plays used alot of local jokes, less political (cos Mrs Goh C T was the GOH) and the amusing ones are those regarding religion..

There are some parts particularly amusing and i hope i got it right..
The lead actress was telling her ex-gf (they were lesbians) sth like why abortion rates were higher in Catholic schs than Methodist schs are bcos Catholics taught them these are Sins whereas Methodists are hush-hush about it and tried to hide the fact that it ever exist.

Then one part where the lead actress went to consult the young female counsellor when she was in a dilemma ab being a lesbian and in her low points in life..

she asked the counsellor: "why are u a christian?"
Counsellor: he he he he (uneasiness)
Actress: why do u believe in god?
Counsellor: well...my whole family is christian tat's y i am christian he he he he(uneasiness)
Actress: So if you are borned into a Buddhist family u will be a Buddhist?
Counsellor: ......(looking up uneasy) he he he....how can you say tat?!

Kinda interesting isnt it? questions the fact of following your family in a religion...
makes my bf laugh even haha..


The winning script is Women hitting (on) Women which will be staged in esplanade nxt month i think..it's really worth watching..but prepared to be real attentive..not recommended if you are mentally drained XD

PS: Was sitting right in front of my linguistics profs la..then saw quah..how big a coincidence is tat? haiz...

you know hor..i wanted to give some sort of speech before cutting cake one leh..
then hor dunno who started singing happy bdae before i can say anything n everyone juz followed..then i forgot everything n i couldn't say cos everyone is eyeing on my cake!!

I am super duper glad that i got so many good friends
for the first time i am like the centre of attention muahaha..think my mum was oso taken aback tat i am so popular wahaha..
ok i shall not be so bhb..but i am really happy to see so so many ppl turned up
all with nice prez and cards for me!!

I juz hope i oso made it a pleasant night for everyone, u all can self-entertained so well!!
i can even see diff groups mixing and playing 0.0..RV are social ppl hehe
nxt time i hope i can organise some gathering at chevrons too..
i simply love the place =)

The Last Moments of my Childish days~

Counting down 45min to becoming 21..
it's really no big deal gaining another age
but it seems like i really have to grow up..think more and be more responsible..
I always do things stubbornly in my way..but i guess time to pay more attention to those i took for granted..

I am glad that till this far I suffered not many setbacks and i long forgotten the unhappiness..
I am happy that I hav many good friends ard me..always there to laugh and play w me,
super nice teachers who guided me and helped me in my ways..

I feel wealthy having all these assets..not being very rich juz makes me wanna give my parents a good life too..seeing them exhausted after preparing steamboat for my relatives..
we finally worked hard as a family..guess i am still their darling daughter after all..

I love everyone...truly grateful

I feel blessed =)

Yu Sheng~~!!

Woohoo~ today ate my first yu sheng of e yr..
i really like to eat yusheng now..aiyo those office gals are so demure n tame..
unlike e craziness and chaos tat normally occurred when we youngsters lao yusheng..then most ridiculous of all..they dun even snatch e crackers! tat's normally wad we aimed for haha..
so i happily got alot of crackers and salmon(tho not v fresh-i recommend ichiban yusheng) to eat other than e buffet lunch tat was provided in office today..got nice ebi fry! eat until so shuang..

i beginning to crave for ichiban yusheng again..mayb i shld go buy this wk hmm..their salmon so nice!! other than the nice nice food( i save my lunch expenses) i am doing quite boring updating again..haha..then work keep coming so my actual work is pushed back..which is better cos i dun like calling ppl up to ask for info..later gonna decorate office wahaha..

哇...今天实在太high了..
我们象足了超级粉丝，一直呐喊尖叫..
超过一半的观众是我们中文系的人，连教授的人数也比其他系来得多
（可能是因为我们的彼得得了最受欢迎教授吧）
我们都力挺彼得！！他的奖座象极了红星大奖..哈哈
彼得今天是超可爱的...一直以他招牌含蓄的笑容俘虏了我们..逗得我们好开心呢

我说的是HSS的大决赛及颁奖典礼
我们狂扫了许多奖项－Winning Division, Favourite HSS Professor, Top players in 3 out of 4 games (i think), 3rd in HSS idol (3 out of 6 are our division)

那Winning Division的奖座是大到～～～

过后就是自助餐，我们大伙儿一起说说笑笑，不亦乐乎！

In Office

Hello..talking to myself in office..
cos i wanna slack and dun wan to ask for more work..i shall pretend to be busy n update my blog muahaha..cos i tend to get lazy and tired at home..

Called numerous ppl to update their particulars in e data base then finished up what I left undone haha..ard 300+ names to check..so now I finished alr and dun feel like doing more stupid tasks hah..the working environment here is good la..ppl all v nice then i got a proper computer to surf as n when i am bored ( e guys still download anime la) ..so sometimes they slack i do work..then today i slack they doing work..

Juz submitted my GSS application form today..yest was super cok up then i cant submit despite i tried whole night..but a small blunder..i put e wrong slot for my 3rd choice uni..going in july instd of june..haha but shouldn't affect much..in fact this allows me to work longer n earn more money..prob i can afford to buy a lappie with my own money..wish I got big big hongbao this yr muahaha..then all struck lottery and give me money!! >.< paiseh abit money-crazy now..

projects coming up.. so scary..i gonna start to pia early..or else gotta suffer e wk after my bdae..

How come things zoom so fast this sem?

Time really zooms past like a flash..
nxt wk is alr the 5th wk of my sem and nearly half way thru..
now is feb and mar will be when reports due and april will be exam period!!

goodness me..i barely had time to pace myself for lessons which i am constantly reading notes for pending or lagging notes (excluding hc250) and now i need to start on my project which needs research..i barely know wad Ms tall is teaching and soon it will be mid term test..how great is tat huh?

For e past few weeks, other than trying to settle in w e usual hustle at e start of term..i am busy looking up n doing research on chalets and e upcoming application for GSS..it's juz so chaotic..
tho i am hardly qualified to call myself stressed with my workload compared to engineering students..but still..i am super tired!! i am alr ready for a break >.< (but i think i cant cos i need to go grab money as in to work and earn more money if i ever get selected for GSS HK) and by e time i get back..it will be another hectic sem all over again..

it's gonna be a "happening" 2007..but pls blessed me with more good luck!!
