Tho today started off w a hoarse voice..after screaming at someone, my voice cleared up quite a bit haha..i feel normal other than sounding deeper than usual..mayb due to the nice food tat i ate? oh ya today's weather is super good..no rain n not hot!!
today went to sushi tei to try their famous (long-heard fr becca) cha soba..it's more chewy than ichiban..for me, i prefer ichiban's..and since i wanted some soup, we tried a new kind-sukiyaki ( a soup-based which raw beef is cooked by urself)..knowledgable now after watching so many food shows (jap hour, shi zi lu kou)..i'm glad i din pour tat egg into e soup as tat is for e dipping of beef..it's so so so damn nice!!! (cannot let my mum know i eat beef hehe)..tat beef is so tender n thinly-sliced!! shiok sia..i really wanna go eat shabu shabu nxt time..wonder is there any middle-ranged price restaurant which serves tat..
after tat we went to look ard the newly renovated Botanic garden..weather is not bad..then we went to look ard for phones n books..walked so much till even my heels hurt..
Dinner was a simple, cheap yet delicious Pontian wanton mee at heeren level 5..gotten to know it thru pat mok's blog which i cant seem to find e link now..it's only $2.80 (12-3pm it's at 2.50)with both fried n soup wanton, plus cha siew n nice soup!! it's damn worth it..i bought another plate of fried wantons haha..it's v v crispy..another cheap hang out w quality food in orchard now..so so satisfied today wahaha..finally it feels like holiday!!
PS: ah huat, sakae got new vegetarian menu..wanna try when we go back sch for movie screening? 20 dec is 1st day of lunar month got 25% off too =)
