Ubin Excursion Trip

I'd nv believe i'll go ubin again..after promising myself not to over-exert b4 sch starts..i can already starting to feel my leg muscles aching and my butt is still so painful..today only 4 of us turned up( me, hf, zh n ss)..dunno why haha..but smaller group easier to move ard..can decide faster and not many ppl can get lost haa..

The day started with me arriving first at tampines mall early in the morn..dunno why i was early despite my efforts to be late haiz..hf, surprisingly not the last today, prefered to search (to no avail) for me (who was at ya kun )and not calling me to ask..i admired her challenging spirit but well it was i who found her in the end haha..so later we went ubin cycling ( it was pretty cheap to rent 4 bikes at $16 only) and we set off to a faraway quarry,which we went the very first time s06 went to ubin..and even took pics there haha..still energetic even tho there were slopes, mud and puddles of water..i had skillfully miss all of them cos someone was the guinea pig in front haha..we spent sometime taking photos and throwing stones at the quarry..it was really v nice..then we decided to try a small path out which took us hiking in the forest and we ended up quite far away from where we left our bikes..we had to walk all the way back to collect them..the slopes seem better to move ard on foot than on bikes haha...

after tat we went to another quarry( which is OBS property) but we managed to find a gap in the fence and we climbed in..this was the place we "bathed" the last time i went OBS w sch..ppl outside were all wondering how we can get in haha..one bad thing today was we were all badly bitten by the mosquitos..cos no B blood type it seems..usually tat person will be our sacrificial lamb to feed the mosquitos haha...then we went into the OBS property again..the tracks which have signs not to trespass but was conveniently ignored haha..we went all the way in..a very long way like nv ending and until we reached the gate then we decided to turn back..pity my poor stamina wor..those ppl got so much energy until i was struggling behind haha...we gotten lost inside cos the tracks are not labelled and no map for us either..we spent quite sometime getting out..tat was really quite shagged for me..we stopped at the nearest place to hav our well-deserved break with cold drinks and my fav must-eat coconut..but the meat was so tough tat shishir muz help me dig..

Then our beloved ss felt unsatisfied so we went to the further noordin beach instd of mamam( dunno how to spell)..thanks to our dear guide hf who only knows to go in by rocky path n comes out by main road..we had to go thru super muddy path which i sank ankle-deep into the mud and my bike was super dirty..not to mention platters of mud on my white t-shirt..my luck seems to turn for the worst haha..need to bear w the thick mud on my sandals until i reached the public toilet to wash them off..then we finally decided to go back..it was already past 3pm...we were all so shagged cos we experienced alot of rocky roads and upslopes today..zh even had cramp after alighting from the bus and we still tot he left to take bus haha..gave us a scare..but the weather had been v nice to us..a v cooling day which held the rain long enough for us to have our fill exploring the island...

now i would like to announce the prize winners for the following awards:

most energetic : shishir nigam ( who came back from KL at 2am still coming for this trip)
most clean : zhong hong (cleanest clothes and bike!!)
most accident-prone: huifang (who nv fails to fall less than 2 times everytime we go ubin--provide a good load of entertainment haha)
most mud-collection-- me of cos ( anyone like mudcakes?)
